Lorenzo
A long time ago, I went to the pet store and bought myself a short haired hamster and brought him home. At first he bit me lots. I decided I would name him Duke, then my mom told me that "Dukey" meant poopy....so I named him (in capital letters, with an exclamation mark), LORENZO!
And here's a story about Lorenzo.
"The Time He Got Out."
One morning, I woke up ready to hold my baby. I went up to get him. The cage was open and there was no Lorenzo!
I got mom and Sylvan to help me look for him. We looked all around my room and Sylvan's. In Sylvan's room there were a bunch of crumpled up chips. Mom said he should clean them up but he said that he left them out to lure Lorenzo.
When we couldn't find him , I cried because I was really sad. Then mom called me downstairs. Lorenzo had somehow gotten all the way down stairs and had been hiding underneath them. We took him up to his cage and he instantly fell asleep. It had been a big adventure. Awwwww. He was cute...and sooooo sleepy. (another cute feature of Lorenzo is that when he's really sleepy and you sneak up to his cage quietly and scoop him up, he's still sleeping! Right in your hands! )
Here's another story:
"Lorenzo's First Broccoli-li"
One day, we watched an adorable baby hamster eating broccoli on Cute Overload. We decided to see how a teenaged hamster ate broccoli, so we gave him a piece, small and cute. And he went "NYAM-CH" He stuck his teeth in like a pick into a mountain he was climbing. He took out a big chunk and gobbled it down and he was so cute. And then he shoved the whole rest of the broccoli right into his cheek pouch!

New Stuffed Things
Yesterday I got a new puppy. I named her Daisy because she has a white flower patch on her eye. She wears a bright pink dress and a bow that matches. She has white soft skin, a big black nose and a tan patch on the right side of her face, which also covers her right ear. She has a tan patch shaped like a steak on her back.
I brought her to school and she made lots and lots of friends. Here is a list of them:
Making pillows is really easy. Choose two fabrics, or just one. If you want to, first embroider a picture and then sew up the sides with a sewing machine. Then you turn it inside right and stuff it. (You have to leave an opening for stuffing). After you stuff it, you sew up the opening by hand.
